Greenwood Sensory designs and installs bespoke sensory rooms and therapeutic environments across Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.
We work with schools, councils, healthcare providers, SEN organisations and families. Our service can bring together room design, building work, sensory equipment and installation, helping clients manage the project as one coordinated piece of work.
Each room is planned around the available space, the people who will use it and the way the room needs to function.

A Recent Sensory Room Project in Devon
Greenwood Sensory recently completed a sensory room installation for a SEND school in Devon.
The project created two linked sensory spaces and was handled as one project covering construction, lighting, padding and sensory equipment.
One room was created as a calmer space for regulation and quiet engagement. It included a ceiling-mounted mirror ball, projected moving light, perimeter LED lighting, two colour changing bubble tubes, interactive wall panels and a floor level arched mirror.
The adjoining space was designed for movement and safe physical activity. It included padded wall panels, a ball pool, padded steps, crawl through play cubes and soft play shapes for building, climbing and balancing.
Handling the room construction and sensory equipment together meant the spaces could be planned as complete environments rather than adding individual products to a finished room.
